Restore Plastic Surgery

Restore Plastic Surgery got it’s start when former Navy surgeons and colleagues, Dr. Trent Douglas and Dr. Katherina Gallus transitioned from a career serving others to private practice in the La Jolla/UTC area.

Our team was retained to work with Restore SD to create a serene environment for them to take care of their patients. At the onset of the projects, the clients knew the importance of the patient experience and how design could impact patients well-being in a positive way.

Confronted with a unique-shaped suite, the design uses the curves of the building to give design cues to a meandering journey through the space. Using natural light at every opportunity, soft tones along with color and material inspiration from the beach, ocean and sky, the center takes on a spa-like feel throughout.
