Wilson Residence

The inspiration for the Wilson residence was based on the owner’s desire for both a contemporary and pure West-Coast inspired home. The project includes spacious outdoor living areas for entertaining purposes and also takes advantage of the stunning panoramic view from the property. This home fits right into the banks of the island greenery to offer a cohesive transition from earth to home.

The 3,200 square foot home incorporates indigenous materials native to island homes such as stone and heavy timber combined with steel detailing to enhance the contemporary look.

The project utilizes regional post and beam construction and ‘green’ technology which includes photovoltaic panel, grey water treatment and rainwater/runoff collection tanks.
